Class 100(2) A sheet of paper, cardboard, synthetic material or metal carrying a text to be printed, comprises at least two layers of material joined together and superposed on one another, one of the layers having an edge screened by the other layer or another layer and arranged for a feed member to act on the edge when feeding the sheet, the edge being an edge of a strip on, or a recess in, the one layer. In one embodiment (Figs. 1 and 2) a card 1 is provided with a mirror script image and has a recess 3 covered by a covering flap 4. In the embodiment of Fig. 4 a card 6 has a recess 9, a mirror script original 8 being attached to the card 6 by glueing. In Fig. 6 a feed recess 17 is provided in a card 16 having a mirror script original 16 attached thereto. In a further embodiment the card may have a strip of material attached thereto against the edge of which the feed member acts.
