Abstract
969,947. Fluid-pressure servomotor systems. SOC. INDUSTRIELLE DE BREVETS ET D'ETUDES. April 29, 1963 [May 3, 1962], No. 16760/63. Addition to 962,829. Heading G3P. [Also in Division F1] The subject-matter of this Specification is similar to that of the parent Specification but in order to reduce the dimensions of the diaphragms 30, 31, Fig. 1, actuating the fuel valve 12, the operating fluid pressure is taken from the throat of a Venturi 58, the ends of which are open, respectively, to atmosphere and the induction pipe 1 between the throttle valves 12, 15. In a modification, the spring-loaded throttlevalve 15 is replaced by an eccentrically-mounted butterfly-valve 15b, Fig. 2; only one diaphragm 30 is used to operate the valve 12a, the supply to which is provided by the pump 4 drawing from a chamber 5a fed through a float-actuated valve 56. The outer end of the Venturi 58 opens to atmosphere via a duct or chamber 59 and the air filter, not shown.
