Abstract
1431694 Automatic control of concentration ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 19 April 1973 [22 April 1972] 18936/73 Heading G3R [Also in Division F1] In an I.C. engine carburetter type fuel/air mixture control system, see Division F1, the output of an exhaust gas composition measuring probe 29 connects with an amplifier 30 which is wired as an integrating amplifier and to the second input of which is applied a reference voltage, an adjusting member 32 being displaceable on the output signal of the amplifier 30. Ways of effecting the adjustment are as follows (none of the Figures referred to are shown): needle valve in the fuel supply, Fig. 1 (not shown); variable throat Venturi, Fig. 2 (not shown); variable valve in an air by-pass, Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown); variable pressure in the float chamber, Figs. 5 and 6 (not shown); variable level in the float chamber by tilting the chamber or influencing the float or its associated fuel supply pipe.
