An up-and-over door 2 for a garage is supported at each side by mechanism comprising a lower guide lever arrangement 3, preferably a double armed lever 4, pivotally carried by a lower support 5 on the door frame 1 and pivotally connected at 7 to the door, and an upper guide lever arrangement 11, preferably a pair of levers 12, 13, pivotally carried by an upper support 14 on the door frame and pivotally connected to the lower guide lever arrangement 3, a bearing roller or wheel 15 being mounted on the upper guide lever arrangement to slidably support the door. The point at which the lever 12 is pivoted to the lever 4 and the position of the wheel 15 on the lever 12 or 13 may be varied to adjust the path of movement of the door. Running rails 17 for the wheels 15 are arranged on the sides of the door, the weight of which is counterbalanced by springs 9.
