Abstract

604,101. Frame rollers. OVERTON, W. Nov. 24, 1945, No. 31741. [Class 78 (v)] [Also in Group X] Supporting means for sliding doors &c. 1, suspended from runners travelling in a channellike track 10 comprises a lever 5 carrying two rollers 9x rotatable about horizontal pins 8x, the door shown being suspended from each upper corner from the end of a lever by a bolt 4 pivoted to a hanger bracket 2 so that its weight tends to rock the lever in a vertical plane and cause the roller nearer to the bolt to engage the lower track flange and the further roller to engage the upper flange. The bolt which passes through a clearance hole in the lever has a compression spring 6 and adjusting nut 8 for checking vibration. For curved tracks the levers may be of spring steel or in two or more hinged parts.
