960,015. Automatic voltage regulation. TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L.M. ERICSSON. Oct. 31, 1961 [Nov. 1, 1960], No. 39008/61. Heading G3X. A source K whose voltage output Eut is to be temperature dependent is controlled by a bridge network consisting of temperature dependent resistors RT and temperature independent resistors r connected at one diagonal to a temperature independent source E and at the other diagonal D1, D2 to a comparison circuit J through one arm of a potentiometer R2, R1 which is connected to the source K output. At equilibrium the comparison circuit inputs are equal but a temperature change varies the bridge output which alters the source K output to bring the bridge back into balance. A transistor amplifier suitable for the comparison circuit is described in the Specification. Additional resistors r and switches are provided to alter the temperature-output voltage characteristic.
