Abstract

959,169. Gas burners. JUNKERS & CO. G.m.b.H. May 9, 1963 [May 26, 1962], No. 18321/63. Heading F4T. A grid-shaped burner comprises a series of burners 14 inserted into a distributer pipe 13 surrounding a sleeve 16 having an internal shoulder 21 against which an injector nozzle 17 is clamped by an injector 18, the nozzle being removable through an air inlet 20 in the sleeve 16. The surface of the nozzle abutting the shoulder 21 is conical, and part of the nozzle enclosed by the injector 18 is cylindrical. The injector 18 is screwed into the sleeve 16 at 22 or is secured in the sleeve 16 by a bayonet fitting. A removable cover 29 covers the end of the distributer pipe 13 and provides access to a screwdriver slot 28 in the end of the injector 18. The burner device has a shut-off valve 11 operated by a valve rod 12.
