Abstract
957,709. Heat-insulated ducts. THERMOTANK PLASTIC ENGINEERING Ltd. May 16, 1960 [Feb. 16, 1959], No. 5246/59. Heading F2P. A duct consists of several coaxial tubes 1, 2 of textile fibrous material at least one of which is impregnated with a thermosetting resin, the tubes being separated by corrugated spacers 3 whose crests in adjacent layers are staggered. The spacers 3 may be of metal, paper or fibrous material. The Specification also describes a duct of square cross-section whose walls are made up of two of the walls shown in Fig. 2.
