945,215. Travelling wave tubes. CSFCOMPAGNIE GENERALE DE TELEGRAPHIE SANS FIL. May 4, 1962 [May 4, 1961], No. 17278/62. Heading H1D. A travelling-wave tube of M-type has a sole electrode provided with traps for secondary electrons formed by a bidimensional network of grooves. The fingers formed by the grooves may be triangular or, as shown, rectangular in section and may be inclined in the opposite direction to the direction of propagation of the electron beam, Figs. 2, 3 (not shown). Specifications 762,023 and 781,205 are referred to.
