Abstract

939,056. Windscreen washing systems. TRICO-FOLBERTH Ltd. Jan. 5, 1960 [Jan. 6, 1959], No. 524/59. Addition to 866,218. Class 138 (1). Washing liquid is forced to a nozzle 6 of a windscreen washer from a container 28 by compressed air supplied thereto by a hand operated piston pump 8, the container 28 being filled between washing operations from a reservoir 4 through an opening 32, which is closed by a valve member 34 blown against it by compressed air when the pump 8 is operated. In two alternative embodiments the air pumps are operated by compressed air and by vacuum, respectively.
