936,921. Laminates. LINTAFOAM INDUSTRIES Ltd. Feb. 28, 1962 [Dec. 6, 1960], No. 42042/60. Class 140. [Also in Group IX] A laminated carpet underlay comprises a layer of polyurethane foam of low compression modulus bonded to a layer of resilient material, e.g. foamed latex, bonded crumb rubber, sponge rubber, felt, or non-woven fibres. The polyurethane foam of either the ester or ether type preferably has a density of 1.5 to 2.0 1b. per cubic ft. The resilient material may be laid on a reinforcing backing, such as hessian. The layers may be bonded together by a rubber adhesive. Specification 835,476 is referred to.
