Abstract

441,239. Mats &c. HACKLANDER, K. H., 309, Egerta, Vaduz, Liechtenstein. Feb. 18, 1935, No. 5217. [Class 142 (iv)] A composite carpet or mat has an upper layer of pile fabric &c. a secured along its edges only to a lower layer b of felted material acting as a padding or filling, the lower or both surfaces c, d of the layer b being made non-slipping by means of a rubber coating or latex impregnation. An air space is thus produced between the two layers. The fabric a may be folded under the layer band be secured thereto by adhesive or stitching. Specifications 392,994 and 353,983 are referred to.
