935,254. Optical objectives. KODAK Ltd. July 13, 1961 [July 18, 1960], No. 24952/60. Class 97 (1). The objective is of the three component type as shown, the rear component III being interchangeable with others of different power so as to vary the magnification. Preferably, all the rear components have the same thickness and same front radius whereby the object to image distance is kept constant. Preferably also the rear components are such that the power of the objective is not changed by more than ΠID. Optical data are given for one example having four different rear components.
