In a modification of the objective of Specification 931,063 a collutive connected surface r 10 is provided which has a radius of curvature less than the focal length and an index difference thereacross exceeding 0.06 and the biconcave dispersing lens L IV has its front surface r 7 of greater radius of curvature than its rear surface r 8 .
