Abstract
932,469. Wrappers; paper and like bags. NATRON-PAPIER-INDUSTRIE A.G. Dec. 2, 1959 [Dec. 5, 1958], No. 40933/59. Classes 94(1) and 94(2). A bag or wrapper has reinforcing strips secured to it in the regions which will cover the edges of prismatic contents in the final package. A multiply bag or wrapper may have longitudinal strips 4 between two plies and may also have transverse strips (not shown) to protect corners 6<SP>1</SP>. A single ply covering may have strips externally or internally. The strips may be of paper, corrugated cardboard, plastic &c. and may be reinforced with metal &c. thread. They may be formed by spraying the wrapper or bag web. Two strips may be placed one on either side of each edge in close proximity in lieu of across the edge, Fig. 11 (not shown).
