[Also in Group XXXIII] A ladder comprises steps 11 which are concave on the tread side to provide satisfactory foothold with the ladder at various angles. The steps are formed from a continuous sheet and are attached to angle bar stringers 10 by flats 12 which also form steps when the ladder is horizontal as a gangway.
