926,458. Inflatable craft. LA SPIROTECHNIQUE. July 11, 1961 [July 13, 1960], No. 25083/61. Class 113. A vessel has an inflatable surround 1, 2, 3, 4 with a flexible sheet bottom 5 overlaid by a rigid platform or deck 6 and a frame superstructure 13 with its base on the deck. The superstructure carries a canopy 26 of flexible material. An air compressor pressurises the space between the canopy 26 and the bottom 5. The bottom may be provided with a well 33 giving access to the water in which the vessel floats, and the well may be covered by a cloth 45. The surround contains upper bags 37, 38 inflated with air under pressure and lower bags 39, 40 containing liquid (e.g. fuel for the engines or drinking water).
