Abstract

933,360. Non-structural buoyancy chambers. BILL O'BRIEN Ltd. March 27, 1962 [March 27, 1961], No. 11062/61. Class 113. A sailing vessel has one or more inflatable buoyancy chambers 1 fitted to the masthead 2 in a deflated condition, Fig. 3, with means (e.g. bottles 8 of gas under pressure manually or automatically operable) for rapidly inflating them when required to give a buoyancy moment to counteract a tendency to capsize, Figs. 4 and 5.
