Abstract
926,354. Electric transformers. SOC DE L'ELECTRONIQUE FRANCAISE. Dec. 23, 1959 [April 7, 1959], No. 43747/59. Class 38 (2). A high-frequency transformer with continuously variable coupling, comprises one winding including one or more turns consisting of two parts hinged together so that one part can move relative to the other part and to the other, fixed winding. In the embodiment shown, a fixed, circular, primary winding 1 is surrounded by a secondary winding 2 which comprises two, fixed, quadrantal conductors 211, 2<SP>111</SP> conductively hinged to a semi-circular conductor 2<SP>1</SP> which revolves about the primary winding. In other embodiments both half-turns may be movable ; either or both windings may include hinged turns; the shape of the primary and and secondary may be square or rectangular.
