Abstract

920,527. Knitting machines. K. I. J. ROSEN. Feb. 8, 1961 [Feb. 8, 1960], No. 4762/61. Class 74 (2). In feeding a plurality of yarns to a multi-feed knitting machine each yarn is trapped between an independent roller 11 and a common endless feed band 12. As shown, yarn spools 4 are carried on arms 3 mounted above needle cylinder 2 on a stand 1 with a central post 5. Carried on rods 6 on post 5 is a plate 7 with radial arms carrying rods 8 supporting a ring 9. Rollers 11 are rotatably mounted beneath plate 7 and carry a band 12 which is driven from the machine. Thread eyes 19, 20 guide the yarn 21 from the roller 4 between the band 12 and the rollers 11.
