920,025. Tufting-machines. SINGERCOBBLE Ltd. Feb. 3, 1960, No. 35430/62 Divided out of 920,023. Drawings to Specification. Class 112. A looper hook for a tufting-machine has a point for entry into the yarn loops made by the needle, and also has resilient means between which and the hook the needle may pass as the hook enters a loop, said means holding the loop on the hook for presentation to a knife for producing cut pile, but allowing the loop to pass off the hook if the tension in the yarn exceeds a predetermined minimum for producing uncut pile. The subject-matter is identical with that disclosed in Specification 920,023, but the claims differ. Specifications 735,019 and 780,370 also are referred to.
