Abstract

919,468. Electromagnetic relays. HUSQUARNA VAPENFABRIKS A.B. Feb. 23, 1961 [March 2, 1960], No. 6738/61. Class 38 (5). [Also in Group XXXV] A snap-action multiplecontact switch comprises an electromagnet 1, 2 with a flap armature 3 to which is fastened, by means of an insulating plate 25, a spring 5 formed with tongues each having a contact 23 co-operating with an associated stationary contact 24. A leaf-spring 28 is rockably mounted between the end of each tongue of the spring and an insulating stop 27 and the tongues are differently biased so that the separate switches constituted by each tongue and its contacts are successively opened when the armature 3 becomes actuated by current in the coil 2. In a modification (Fig. 1, not shown) each tongue of the spring 5 co-operates with a roller and a lever to actuate an individual snap-action switch.
