[Also in Groups XXI and XXV] A belt 1 for use in diving operations has an elongated flexible portion with end fastening means comprising a projecting peg 6 near one extremity of the belt adapted to mesh with any one of apertures 2 formed near the opposite extremity, said extremities being looked together by a spring clip 7 inserted in a bore 6 in the peg, and a portion (made rigid by plates 11) provided with projecting pegs 12 for accommodating a detachable weight 15 and/or weights 16 secured to the pegs by a key 18 slidably fitting within aligned bores 13 in the pegs.
