Abstract
309,395. Fitton, H. J. Jan. 9, 1928. Attaching keys, purses, and the like to the person.-A flexible attachmemt by which keys, purses or other articles may be secured to the person is provided with means intermediate its ends by which its effective length may be reduced so that, when not in use, the keys &c. may hang in a pocket instead of resting on the bottom. As shown, the device comprises a chain a with means b at one end for attachment to the person and means c at the other end for attachment to the article, a book d or other means being provided at e intermediate the ends, by engaging which with the means b, or the chain a intermediate between b and e, the effective length of the chain a is reduced. The hook d may be attached by means such as a split ring so that its position on the chain a may be varied at will.
