[Also in Group XXXVI] In a cam-operated switch- and-socket unit, contacts 21, on resilient arm 23 and terminal 22, are opened by cam 20 and toggle 14, against pressure applied by spring 25, which also serves to force one end of lever 24, pivoted in buckle 26, and operated by a second cam 20, against a shoulder in the resilient arm 23 to compress the socket contact 15 and grip a plug contact inserted therein.
