Abstract

914,491. Two-part couplings. ULTRA ELECTRONICS Ltd. May 4, 1960 [June 22, 1959], No. 21284/59. Class 38 (1). In a two-part electric coupling, relative rotation between a multi-jack socket 12 and a member 17 which screws a plug 16 on to the socket 12 is prevented after assembly by a spring-urged cap 21 non-rotatably mounted on the socket and having recesses 25 engaging ribs 18 on member 17. The cap is slidably mounted by means of prongs 20 on a member 19 and can be depressed when the plug is to be removed.
