Abstract

A solderless connection device for making a positive permanent electrical connection with a wire conductor or the like, comprising: connection means defining a pair of separate opposed jaws provided with hard, narrow cooperative surfaces in contact with the conductor, being deformable at least the part of said connection means that defines one of said jaws; and retention means operatively associated with said connection means, adapted to retain said deformable part in a deformed relationship or state by around a wire conductor arranged between said jaws, and these jaws in tight compression contact with the conductor, said comprising retaining means at least one deformed elastic member in cooperative contact with one of said jaws in such a way that the tendency of said elastic member to return to its undeformed state forces said jaw to cooperate in contact with said conductor.
