909,492. Photographic fixing developers. AGFA A.G. Dec. 2, 1960 [Dec. 3, 1959], No. 41635/60. Class 98 (2). A photographic fixing developer comprises an alkaline solution of pH 10 to 13 containing a sulphite, sodium thiosulphate, hydroquinone and a 1-phenyl-3-amino- #<SP>2</SP>-pyrazoline having in the p-position of the 1-phenyl group an OH, NH 2 or NHR group, where R is alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, sulpho-alkyl or carboxyalkyl. The developers also may contain ethylene diamine tetra-acetic acid, hexametaphosphates, aluminium sulphate, alum, nitrobenzimidazole or benztriazole. In the examples, the alkali is sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide or trisodium phosphate. Specification 768,071 is referred to.
