Abstract
909,321. Stoves. PERRY HEATING APPLIANCES Ltd. Dec. 8, 1960 [Sept. 11, 1959], No. 31068/59. Class 126. [Also in Group XIII] In an oil-fired heating device, combustion products flow past baffles to a flue to which air warmed during passage through a duct is admitted direct. As shown, a burner 1 is housed in a combustion chamber 3 which has baffles 8, 9 secured to its inner surface and a water jacket 11 i around its back and sides. A stream of air entering an outer casing 4 at 10 flows partly through an aperture 7 to the burner 1 and partly into a duct 13 at the front of the combustion chamber 3 from where it passes to the flue 5. Air polluted with fuel fumes may also be drawn into the flue 5 through a passage 15.
