Abstract
908,245. Humidifying apparatus. OXYGENAIRE (LONDON) Ltd. Jan. 27, 1961 [Jan. 27, 1960], No. 2974/60. Class 55 (2). Apparatus for producing a humid atmosphere in an enclosure such as an oxygen-tent comprises a duct 16 through which a flow of air is induced to flow, an ejector nozzle 24 connected by a pipe 29 with a supply of humidifying liquid in a bottle 12 and by a connection 22 (not shown) to a source of gas under pressure, e.g. to a cylinder containing oxygen, and a transverse baffle 30 extending across the duct 16 which when the apparatus is in use breaks up the spray of humidifying liquid from the nozzle 24. The apparatus may be arranged outside or inside the enclosure and the flow of air is induced through holes 19 in the wall of the duct.
