Abstract

902,525. Agricultural implements. SILK, O. A. March 14, 1960 [June 3, 1959], No. 8815/60. Divided out of 902,524. Class 6(1). A stone clearing device comprises a number of rotary pronged members 1 angularly mounted so that they rotate by contact with the ground. The device is attached by pins 11 to a tractor linkage and may be mounted in front of a seed sower or hoeing machine. Lateral guards may be provided alongside the members 1. The members are each freely rotatable in a shaft 6 fixed to a channel member 20 laterally adjustable on a wheeled frame 3. As shown in Fig. 6 some or all the prongs may be agitated or vibrated by means of a striker roller 30 on a radial arm fixed on the shaft 16. Specification 835,943 also is referred to.
