Abstract
809,799. Agricultural implements. CORDEBAS, J. N. and FERRE, H. July 24, 1956 [July 25, 1955], No. 22824/56. Classes 6(1) and 6(2). An agricultural implement comprises a series of cutters 1 rotatably mounted on a shaft 3 and spaced by loosely mounted washers. As shown the shaft 3 is mounted in slots in a member 4 and is held in position by a bent pin 7 provided with an arm 8 held in position by a slide 9. The cutters are each formed of a number of parallelogram-shaped plates riveted together to form a star-shaped disc. The number of cutters can be varied by inserting a suitable number of washers on the shaft 3. For tracing lines of furrows in the soil a shaft 21 may be inserted to prevent rotation of the cutters. A handle 14 is provided and is inserted in a socket 12. Alternatively a touring link may be provided for attachment to a tractor. Cutters may be mounted on two or more parallel shafts.
