898,623. Ignition generators. LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd., JOSEPH. Sept. 21, 1960 [Sept. 21, 1959], No. 32025/59. Class 35. The ignition coil of a flywheel magneto is embedded in cast insulating material e.g. synthetic resin, and its end face 14 is curved to fit closely inside flywheel 13 to save space. Before casting both windings are preformed by forcing into a mould which has a curved end surface 17, Fig. 5 (not shown). During casting, aperture 19, Fig. 4 (not shown), is formed for the high-tension connection and the low-tension leads are brought out through sleeves.
