Abstract

945,132. Ignition generators. ROBERT BOSCH G.m.b.H. Aug. 28, 1962 [Sept. 21, 1961], No. 32912/62. Drawings to Specification. Heading H2A. A flywheel magneto has the ignition armature and the contact breaker mounted on a carrier plate made from resinous material e.g. polypropylene by an injection moulding process. In order to increase the mechanical strength, and facilitate making electrical connections to the armature and contact breaker, metal plates may be inserted in the moulding. The armature may also be encapsulated in the same moulding together with the H.T. socket. If a flywheel dynamo is included this armature is also mounted on the same plate.
