Abstract

894,900. Loud-speakers. ROLA CELESTION Ltd. June 11, 1958 [March 13, 1957], No. 8334/57. Class 40 (4). [Also in Group XL (c)] To overcome the disadvantage of size an electrostatic loud-speaker is pivoted so that when not in use the apparatus is more compact. Two loud-speakers 10, 11 may be secured to the doors of a television set (Fig. 1, not shown) or a stereophonic apparatus, Fig. 2, the main cabinet of which has a low-frequency loud-speaker 14 which may be of the moving-coil type. In the case of stereophonic apparatus, the loudspeakers may hinge out further from the doors as shown in Fig. 3. A radiogram may have an electrostatic loud-speaker in its lid.
