846,591. Loud-speakers. LOWELL, B. W. Oct. 2, 1957 [May 16; 1957], No. 30834/57. Class 40 (4). A baffle for a loud-speaker has at least one arcuate opening concentric with the central opening. The loud-speaker 21 may be mounted in a box 22 closed except for arcuate openings 14 which relieve pressure generated inside the box. A diffusing cone 23 may be mounted by bars 24 in front of the loud-speaker. The box, Fig. 4, may be mounted on a wall or ceiling 20, or it may be suspended by a chain, Fig. 5.
