893,599. Mattress handles. ILLINOIS TOOL WORKS. Sept. 30, 1958 [Sept. 30, 1957], No. 31234/58. Class 52(4) [Also in Group XXV] A mattress handle unit 20 consists of a handle part 32 bridging fastener units 34 each of which includes a member 36 of plastic and having apertures 46 through which pass prongs 52 of a member 54 to engage a metal member 48 positioned against the inner surface of the mattress cover, the prongs being bent over. In a modification member 54 is apertured. In another modification Fig. 9 the plate is on the surface of fabric cover 22c and the ends 56c of the prongs are bent to lie over the outer surface 44c of the plastic member.
