Abstract
891,685. Cartons. UNIPAK CARTONS Ltd. May 16, 1960 [March 11, 1960], No. 17264/60. Class 18. A carton for holding bottles has compartments formed from a blank, Fig. 1, comprising at least three main panels hinged together in side-by-side relation, the panels being cut and scored so that when assembled in a tubular carton having sides 75-78, Fig. 6, portions 9, 73 are stuck to walls 76, 75 and portions 8, 32 form longitudinal partitions. The shaded areas of the blank and corresponding areas on the carton blank are coated with a pressure sensitive adhesive. In one modification the compartments are formed from a four panel blank, Fig. 7, which is assembled in a carton as shown in Fig. 12. In another modification, Figs. 13 and 18, transverse partitions 214 are connected to separate upper and lower portions 223, 225. In a final modification the compartments are again formed from a four panel blank, Fig. 19, cut and scored so as to be assembled in the carton as shown in Fig. 24.
