Abstract

886,310. Loom dobbies. SAURER Ltd., ADOLPH. Feb. 5, 1960 [April 1, 1959], No. 4147/60. Class 142(2) Each end of a baulk lever 4 has a pair of hooks 6, 7: 8, 9, the hooks 6, 8 having catches 18, 21 to transmit the pull of the draw knives 12, 13 and the hooks 7, 9 having abutments 24, 25 to transmit the push of the knives. A pattern card mechanism operates pivoted levers 61, 67 to lift and thus disengage the pull hooks 6, 8 from the draw knives 12, 13 so that the hooks 7, 9 may be pushed against stops 70 71, to the inoperative position. The pattern card mechanism and the draw knives are actuated by the followers 38, 34 in eccentric grooves 37, 35.
