Abstract

885,517. Swash plate pumps. AIREQUIPEMENT. March 7, 1958 [March 8, 1957], No. 7413/58. Class 102(1). In a swash-plate pump the shoes are retained against the swash-plate by a spring loaded plate 18 which is positively driven from the rotating cylinder block 1. The swash-plate 15 is support ed on the high pressure side by a piston 23 in a cylinder 22 connected to the pump outlet. The angle of the swash-plate is controlled by pistons on opposite sides of the piston 23. The pump cylinders have silver liners 14. Specification 885,518 is referred to.
