Abstract
883,195. Transistor switching circuits. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd., and ROUS, R. F. June 21, 1960 [June 24, 1959], No. 21695/59. Class 40(6). A transistor switching circuit comprises a number of switches each of which is connected to a common input by a two terminal network which includes a capacitor and resistor connected in series, the arrangement being such that the distribution of the switching current between individual switches is controlled by the resistors to ensure that every switch changes its state. A pulse amplifier, comprising a switch 3 has its output connected to the bases of two further switches 1, 2 through two terminal networks 11, 12. The networks each include a series combination of a resistor and capacitance 13, 15 and 14, 16 in parallel with a further resistor 17 or .18 respectively. The outputs of the two switches are connected to, for example, gating circuits 4, 5. The switch 3 may comprise half a bi-stable circuit (not shown) in which the other half is connected in a similar switching arrangement.
