Abstract
874,667. Rectifier switching circuits. BUSH & RANK CINTEL Ltd. Feb. 25, 1960 [Feb. 25, 1959], No. 6525/59. Class 40(6) A switching circuit comprises a number of elements each consisting of two impedances 1, 2 connected in series between a control terminal 3 and an input terminal 4, the junction of the impedances being connected via a unilaterally conductive device 9 to a common output terminal 11. When the control potential on terminal 3 is high enough for the diode 9 to conduct, the signal from the source 5 is switched through to the output terminal, and conversely when the control potential is at a low value. If the source 5 is an A.C. source, a blocking capacitor may be included between the terminal 4 and the source, and a shunt resistor provided between terminals 4, 6 to complete the D.C. path of the potential divider 1, 2 to the negative line 7, Fig. 2 (not shown).
