Class 75(1) A gas burner comprises curved gas ducts 4 extending from a central gas passage 2 and curved air ducts 5 extending from a central annular air passage 3, the gas and air being discharged by the ducts 4, 5 in a direction tangential to the periphery of the burner body. The ducts 4, 5 are in a plane at right angles to the axis of the passages 2, 3 and are arranged alternately. In another embodiment the gas ducts 4 are above and inclined to the air ducts 5.
