881,461. Carburetters. SOC. INDUSTRIELLE DE BREVETS ET D'ETUDES. April 11, 1960 [April 16, 1959], No. 12852/60. Class 7(3). In a downdraught carburetter the lower edge of the member 9 into which nozzle 8 discharges is shaped as shown to prevent fuel accumulating at at least one point on it. The nozzle 8 supplies a primary mixture of fuel and air formed in the well S. Conventional slowrunning, starting and if necessary acceleration pump devices are employed.
