Abstract

877,212. Resilient mountings. DUNLOP RUBBER CO. Ltd. June 10, 1958 [June 18, 1957], No. 19103/57. Class 108(3). A rubber bush 3, has a flange 10, and at the opposite end a counter-bored portion 11. When the bush is assembled between inner and outer concentric members, the counterbored portion 11 is squeezed outwards by axial compression to form a flange similar to the flange 10. The counter-bore may be cylindrical. Counter-bores may be provided at both ends, so that no flange 10 is required.
