Abstract

876,650. Escapements. RELHOR S.A. Feb 9, 1960 [Feb. 25, 1959], No. 4482/60. Class 139 In an escapement the escape wheel is formed by two superimposed wheels 8 and 9, the teeth of which have impulse faces 11 and 13 and curved locking faces 12, 14 which co-operate respectively with rollers 17 and 18 carried by an oscillating disc 15. A return spring 25 is fixed at one end to a pin 24 on the disc 15 and at the other end to a pin 26 on an adjustable pivoted lever 27. The locking faces 12, 14 are curved so as to allow the disc 15 to perform a supplementary oscillatory arc when the escape wheel is locked. The rollers 17 and 18 are on opposite sides of the disc 15 and are located between the disc 15 and radial arms 19 and 20 respectively. The inertia of the disc 15 may be changed by attaching masses at the holes 23.
