Class 20(1) A business building of the type in which a customer is served while seated in his car comprises a bay 22 which has a vertically slidable window 39 and a horizontally slidable counter 40 which is at such a height that when operated by an attendant the rubber cushioned edge 63 will engage the side of an automobile so that a customer may receive an article placed at the outside edge of the counter. The counter moves on rails 60, 71 and is wholly within the bay when in its closed position and is flush with the side shelf 56. A compartment 53 in the bay has sliding doors 47, 51 and an inclined rod 52 with hook 54 on which a customer, by using the door 47, may hang goods to be collected by the attendant. In a modification (see Fig. 7, not shown) a unit is provided for converting a business to the above type, the unit comprising a bay formed from a framework of timber and having a movable window and counter as described above. The counter may be connected to the window by a spring and pulley arrangement so that operation of the counter opens the window.
