The bolt 1 of a shackle type coupling may be disengaged from a draw bar eye 11 by moving a pivoted lever 4 upwardly against a spring 9, thus withdrawing a slidable pin 3 from beneath a semi-circular lip 6 and permitting the bolt to be lifted.
