717,781. Vehicle couplings. BILLING- TON, H. E., and BIRD, H. A. March 26, 1952, No. 7712/52. Addition to 664,988. Class 103(5) A coupling as described in the parent Specification is provided with an adjustable wear-pad 19 in screw -threaded engagement with the head 15 and the key 31 which engages the slot 32 in the slide 17 is mounted in a bush 30 in screw-threaded engagement with the head 15. To prevent disengagement of the coupling a ring 25 pivoted to the slide 17 engages at its lower end a projection on the head 15.
