A coupler head 16 is provided with a shank 26 rotatably mounted in a two-part member 27 and is axially retained therein by a flange 39 provided with a flat face 40 acted on by a follower 41 and centralizing springs 44. The shank 26 may be provided with a circumferential groove engaged by complementary U-shaped members to axially locate the shank.
